Wyboo Golf Club – March Newsletter
Greetings!
We trust everyone is doing well and waiting to play golf as the weather continues its usual course this time of year. Spring is just around the cold front!
As you may be aware, our package season begins in March and tee times fill up quickly. Please call as early as possible to book your tee times so we may best accommodate your requests.
New merchandise is arriving - Foot Joy golf shoes, Ray Cook and TourEdge putters, golf bags and apparel. The current stock of Foot Joy women's shoes has been marked down 35% to make room for new styles on order. Straw hats and other headwear are also on the way. Coordinating ensembles have been ordered for the women; great spring shopping adventures!
Our 20th Anniversary Celebration Keeps Giving!
Volvik golf balls will be the giveaway for the drawing at the end of March. Don't forget to fill out a ticket at the check-in counter every time you come in to play. No charge for this! Just like the Lottery, You have to be in it to win it.
The drawings for April will be for 1 pair of Foot Joy golf shoes for men, 1 pair of Foot Joy golf shoes for ladies. Don't forget to sign up for this. Get your tickets at the counter when you check in to play golf.
Superintendent News
The golf course is beginning to dry out and we thank everyone for your patience with cart procedures during this time. We will continue with current projects until we begin mowing the course on its regular basis.
Mark your calendars! June 18th is when the greens will be aerified. The healing time should be about two weeks.

Special Events and Deadlines
Our 9 Holes Couples Events will begin on March 12th.They will be Shotgun Starts at 5:30, Net Best Ball. Entry fee is $5.00 per person which will include one beverage.Sign up in the Pro Shop either in person or by phone.
Come out and enjoy a great round of golf with family and friends.
Just a reminder, March 31st is the deadline to be on the Handicap List. If you have not signed up by ten, your name will be removed from the Handicap Roster.
Schedule of Events – March 2019
- 7th - Manning High School Golf Match, 4:00 start
- 11th - Manning High School Golf Match, 3:30 start
- 12th - 9 Holes Couples Event, 5:30 start
- 17th - St. Patricks Day
- 25th - Qualifier for CGA Mid Amatuer Championship. Course opens at 1:00 pm
